At the beginning of the last decade (2010 - 2011), the city of Lima, Peru was an epicenter of renewed musical proposals. Young people from different backgrounds gave life to projects with unconventional sounds until then. Dispositivo Sueños was one of them. The duo composed of Romina Roggero and Diego Seymour appeared on the scene with a first single titled Cotton Clouds. A track that broke with any logic of compositional aesthetics, since its minimalist construction, at the same time avant-garde, was a unique mix of electronic beats with ethereal layers that harmoniously dialogued with the singer's velvet voice. All this about a subtle rhythm that refers to the Andean huayno. Almost playfully, they had then achieved a unique and valid piece until these days. They subsequently published new songs that were part of the EP entitled under the same name.

Dispositivo Sueños project immediately became recognized in the music sector, making live appearances at various events and festivals. They were other moments of the internet, where artists barely dabbled on networks like Facebook, there was no Spotify and word of mouth was still predominant. Cotton Clouds is a jewel that we want to preserve and share with this new generation. A unique work in the spectrum of local independent music until today. For this reason, the Empty Fields Recordings and Surrounding Label labels are pleased to present “Cotton Clouds - 10th - Special Edition”. An album that compiles the original tracks, including an unpublished version, an acoustic version, a remix and live versions.
